Hotel “Van Dijk” is an ideal starting point for your cycling tours/trips. Along the foreland of the Ijssel, across the Kampereiland (island) or in the nearby forests. All equally magnificent.

Having a water surface of 20,26 km² within the city limits and a lot of water in surrounding areas, Kampen remains the ideal place to be for everything that has to do with water. The famous Brown Fleet, the Black Water, the Ijssel, the Ketelmeer (lake), the many fishing waters, the marinas and the marvellous swimming pool offer all possibilities for recreation in and on the water.

City Walk
The Hanze city walk will take a look at the history of the cultural town of Kampen. Along the way you will pass the Nieuwe Toren (New Tower) which has over 48 clocks, the tower also has a leading role in one of the stories that used to ridicule the good townspeople of Kampen. More info

Kamper Kogge in Kampen
In Kampen a mediaeval trade-vessel, a kogge has been rebuilt. Koggen were of great importance to the rise and prosperity of Kampen, one of the most powerful Hanseatic towns of these regions.
